Although McCain leans further left than I would personally like, I believe that he'll provide better wisdom on war issues than we've had during the previous 7 years.

The worst of Iraq may appear to be behind us, but that's misleading I think..

I think it's going to get more complex as we balance troop withdrawal while keeping a hammer held over Iran's head. We absolutely cannot just vacate the entire area.

Obama has tried several times to acknowledge this fact - and keeps getting hammered by his base over it. But fact is fact. You cannot just abandon the region in any sense of the word.

I think foreign policy will consume most of the next president's term, regardless of who is in the White House. And for that, nothing matters more to me than foreign policy capability.

I don't even know where to begin with this one...okay so now my Ex is in California with the boys and I am still here in VA...boy was Christmas tough. But my new main squeeze has made it really easy..she is a wonderful person who knows my pros/cons and chose me anyway..he he he. I am still looking for work in my chosen field of Software Testing..Lots of leads not enough follow ups though. I hope to get on somewhere in the next couple of months. Until then I am at WIMSA with more women than the average man can tolerate in a day..Not quite sure how I make it? It must be because they feed me....you gotta love a place where your co-workers give you free food right?!

Plus working there really keeps me on the patriotic side of the ball..Mind you not conservative though just feeling patriotic....it's funny how I feel the need to describe my patriotism as liberal or conservative...just because so many people who haven't served their country try to make those of us who do not condone the "WAR" to be communist or anti american. I just don't believe that kinda crap...I served proudly and still don't approve of this war. Anyway!!!!

Didn't get any Christmas presents this year, although my Mom did put a package in the mail for me...but so far no presents...I spent most of Xmas in the kitchen cooking for my beau and her sister (flew in for Xmas). Gave them some good soulfood. The New Year was spent highly intoxicated..My girl was out of town. The rest of that weekend went by in a flurry of Bowl Games and NFL games. GO RAIDERS!...I know they sucked this year...but hey thats my team..Ok so I will chat later....when I got some time to fill in the gaps...and make a little more sense.PEACE!
